Fitness update

So, it's been a while since I posted about fitness.  Let's just say, I got a bit off track this summer.  Time to get back on the wagon!!

So, today, for giggles, I did a fitness test.  It's been a while since the last one.  In fact, I had to search through the blog to find my old results.  So, here were today's numbers... not too bad:

1 mile run: 9:10
Full Situps (in 1 minute) - 35
Pushups (in 1 minutes) - 19 on my toes 8 on my knees
Hover - 1:46
Wallsit - 3:33

Definitely haven't been doing enough pushups.  I did those last today and was a bit out of steam too...

So - my other fun fitness update is that I'm facilitating a "Made to Crave" Bible study for PWOC.  This study addresses less of the "how-to's" of fitness, health and diet, and looks more at what causes us to "want" food more than God.  Lysa TerKeurst, the author, will also be our main speaker for the PWOC regional conference this fall.  Also just found out that Laura Story will be leading worship!  I'm excited!!  I'm even thinking about giving up my Gamecock football ticket that weekend.  (If you know me, you know that is SERIOUS!!) But, it is the Florida game - so I might have to come back early!
