Several women that I've met in the past couple years have been diagnosed with PTSD. Most of them had not yet seen combat... and the PTSD was a result of sexual trauma.

Female soldiers have an increased risk of exposure between the increased level of combat and potential for sexual assault. This page is a good fact sheet.
