Things are starting to take shape - and sometimes it feels like it's happening at an alarming pace!
On my current to-do list is to blog the amazing story of how God has directed my steps to Japan... so, for those who you have been waiting patiently (thank you!!) - it should be SOON! :)
In the meantime - I wanted to share my updated prayer card.
If you currently receive my snail mail updates (all 2-3 times a year!) - you will get one in the mail in the next few months. Suitable for hanging on your fridge!
If you don't get my updates - drop me a message - and I'll be glad to add you!

For all the Single Ladies!
As a single lady myself, I'm alert to posts that are biblical and addressing singles' issues. While Jolene Engle at The Alabaster Jar usually posts about marriage things (also quite helpful!), I always perk up a bit when she posts on singles.
This week, she's posted two great posts:
The #1 Thing a Christian Woman Should Look for in a Husband
and...
Should Christians Live Together Before They Are Married?
Pop on over and have a read!
Actually - she has a whole page for single gals located here.

Japan
I know, I know! Another month and no blogging! But, that doesn't mean that life has been dull and boring! Quite the opposite!
So - this is just a little teaser... but in the near future - I'm taking a "little" trip! As you might guess by the title - my intended destination is Japan!!
What for, you ask? Well... that has an exciting answer! Cadence has some ministries in Japan, and I'll be visiting one of them. Why? Well, it seems that might be where the Lord is leading for my next ministry location!
And, with that little teaser - I'll sign off! Stay tuned for more on this adventure. I can't wait to share the details of how this has been unfolding... soon, I promise!

A Random Act of Kindness that Touched my Heart
So here it is, almost the end of February - and I'm still not back on a blogging kick. Actually - I'm writing a Bible study - from SCRATCH - right now - and it is taking some time. And brain power. And there is lots of studying involved. But I digress...
The real reason I've jumped on for a quick post is to share something I just read that touched my heart. Now granted, the writer is someone near and dear - so I confess, I might be a little biased... but - there is just so much about this post that I love...
First - it's about military life. Duh - you had me at hello. :)
Second - it's an act of kindness that made all the difference. I love that this person saw a need and responded - without knowing the full impact of his actions. And really, isn't that how the random act of kindness thing works? At least, most of the stories I've heard have seemed to be the situations where the small things paid big dividends.
Anyway - pop over and take a read about "Got your back". You won't be sorry!

2013 is passing quickly!
This year is off to a running start, and I can hardly believe how quickly the time is passing by! Clearly, it hasn't been my extreme blogging diverting my attention!
So, about blogging... I really love it - but it takes time. And 2013 has been filled with many great things - but no time for blogging. Please forgive me... if anyone is even still reading.
So - just a quick howdy-do to say life is swell - ministry is grand - change is on the horizon (more on that in the future) - the family is great. And there you have it!
I'd love to blog more - but it's getting to be bedtime, and the brain is shutting down... and trust me, it is in your best interest for me to step away from the keyboard. heh heh heh... really. I get loopy.
Peace.
